Our First Two Weeks Home!

Well it has been two weeks and three days since the birth of Evelyn. Last night was my first night with out my mom or mother in law with me. And here I am still alive!! Tired.....but still here!! Autumn sure does love her sister and is eager to help when she can. Evelyn is a good eater and sleeps quite a bit during the day. I'm hoping to get the girls to nap with me during the day so that I don't get over tired with the lack of sleep at night. Thank you to everyone for their gifts and kind words!! Children are a HUGE Blessing. Love the Sarbecks.

Welcome Evelyn Rose!

Well our new addition is finally here!! Evelyn Rose 8 pounds 10 oz 19 inches long. Delivery went well actually better then when I had Autumn. We are at home recovering and Autumn is loving being a big sister. She always wants to hold and kiss Evelyn. Autumn can be a little jealous at night not wanting to share mommy. But during the day she is a great helper. Now comes the time to relax and make healthier food choices to lose weight. Enjoy the photos. All our love...the Sarbecks.

Happy Holidays 2010

Well Christmas was exciting. Autumn had a blast opening presents and was very excited to see that Santa had visited! Next year we will have a 3 1/2 year old and 10 month old! Hard to believe!! The baby will be here in 10 short days and there is still lots to do to get ready. After all the goodies I ate all weekend I was happy to find out that I hadn't gained a pound!! I should have ate more ha ha!!

Here are some more photos from the recent snow storm. Also our tree!! This is the first year we have put this tree up. We actually bought it two years ago but didn't put up a tree last year. The third photo with Autumn holding the snowball is from our very first snow fall not the latest where we got 22 inches.

December 11th 2010

Well I'm embarrassed that I haven't updated the blog in almost a year. It is hard to find the time with chasing a two year old! I was trying to decide if I was even going to keep this blog. And I've come to the conclusion that I will. I don't think that all the family members are on facebook and I want them to be able to keep up with photos and updates of our family.
Speaking of updates we are due January 7th to have our second baby girl.....to be named yet. Yes I said it we are expanding our family! I have put on a recent preggers photo of myself. Huge belly and all! ha ha! The baby is set to be delivered by c-section January 7th 2011. She is going to be a large baby and I couldn't naturally deliver Autumn so they feel this is the safest option for us. They have discovered via ultrasound that she only has one kidney. The good news is a lot of people live with just one kidney. Other than that she is perfectly healthy. The one kidney she has is actually larger than it should be and is making up for the missing one.
Tucker got his first professional grooming this week since I'm to big to trim his hair myself. He looks great!
Autumn is growing fast and knows a lot. Sometimes I can hardly believe all the things she knows, Colors, ABC's (for the most part), lots of songs, and shapes. I'm looking forward to having her home with me for a few months while I'm on maternity leave. Although I do have some fears of keeping up with two kids!!
Autumn and I have been doing some baking and going out side to play in the snow. But since I do not have any snow pants that fit me.....and I've been wearing one of Shane's jackets (that isn't really for winter) we aren't able to stay outside for very long.
Christmas is fast approaching and we keep telling Autumn that Santa is watching her so she better be good. I almost wish we could use that year round because it seams to help!! ha ha.

I'm not going to put photos from after California until yesterday. Starting fresh.

California

We had a great time in California! We went all over and Autumn had a blast. She did great on the flight and with all the time in the car. She loved spending time with her Great Granny. Her favorite party of Disney was meeting Pooh and Tigger! She ran right up and gave them a big kiss and hug. Although the time change has been an adjustment we are still trying to get her back on Wisconsin time!
